Job Description: IT Project Manager 6 month Contract

POSITION SUMMARY

Project Managers deliver assigned projects to schedule, within budget, and meet the expectations of the client.

This person must:
 Prepare project plans comprising Work Breakdown Structures, Gantt Charts, and Dependency Networks. Plans should identify all the products, and activities to deliver them. Plans should also identify the project budgets, broken down into the levels required to manage the budgets effectively.
 Project Management of multiple projects ensuring tasks and resources are not compromised and the link between business and IT is maintained.
 Manage and monitor the Project Plans to ensure successful completion of the planned activities, and deliver the project on schedule.
 Monitor and manage the budgets to ensure projects stay within budget.
 Create appropriate progress reports and distribute them on the agreed timeframes.
 Present to senior management from conception to delivery of projects as when needed.
 Pro-actively manages risks, issues, changes and quality, including escalation to senior management when delivery dates are in question.
 Communicate with business partners to ensure smooth delivery of tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
 A university degree in computer science or technology or equivalent experience.
 Fluent reader, writer, and speaker of the English language.
 Project Management Certification PMI or Prince2.

Requirements:
To qualify for this role you must:
 Be able to demonstrate a track record of personally leading and delivering large scale projects and programs with excess of 500 scheduled resource days and budgets in excess of 1 Million Euro.
 Be dedicated to providing high levels of service to external and internal clients,
 Possess strong leadership, analytical and communication skills,
 Have strong technical project background
 Have a good understanding of the contact center or BPO industry.


Experience:
 >10 years’ of IT integration and operational support experience involving telephony, infrastructure, network, and platforms.
 >5 years’ running multinational projects teams.
 Worked with multinational clients.
 Coordinated an international team of technical staff.
 Used formal project management methods.
 Worked with industry standard vendors on large integration projects.
