Content Development Manager
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and skills in web content management, writing and editing for the web, and site management. The content manager will be responsible for the data entry across all aspects of the North American online presence as well as maintaining site standards. The content manager will also be responsible for editing and deploying webinars, email newsletters, and tradeshow activities. The content manager will work closely with technical, business development, and marketing members of our organization, so strong communication skills are a must. Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
-Manage all aspects of the email marketing
-Will help with managing and moderating all social media accounts and support forums.
-Help create and manage production of content in a variety formats, including articles, photo galleries, and videos
-Help ensure adherence to publishing schedules and quality standards
-Serve as a resource for content expertise - answer internal and external questions on content production, publishing processes and procedures as well as editorial matters
-Raise, discuss, and resolve content production issues
-Create, execute, and maintain Transcom marketing campaigns in accordance with the brand vision.
-Develop short-term and long-term marketing plans for B2B services and products.
-Partner with Marketing Director to develop messaging frameworks and identify news opportunities.
-Lead day-to-day campaign management with budgeting, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Transcom marketing programs and materials.
-Collaborate with other functional areas and managers (VP Sales, Recruiting) to ensure Transcom messages are included in and aligned with other marketing campaigns.
-Partner with installed business leads to ensure marketing materials effectively communicate benefits to target customer segments.
-Work in partnership with the Director to ensure the tactical alignment to strategic planning and market research to manage quantitative and qualitative consumer insights.
-Devise educational marketing campaigns to convey the Transcom value propositions to installed customers unfamiliar with emerging services.
-Manage Transcom advertising agency relationships to ensure effective program execution, adherence to strategic direction and timely program measurement.
-Review and evaluate current promotional materials for marketing effectiveness, cross-selling implications, and adherence to brand guidelines.
-Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve marketing objectives while maintaining strict confidentiality with privileged information and working well with others in a high-pressure environment.
-Capacity to make sound, timely decisions in a fast-paced industry.
-Proven ability to build effective working relationships with subordinates, peers, managers and executives alike.
-Ability to observe and solve routine problems effectively, as well as react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick response by being assertive, yet pleasant and diplomatic.
-Demonstrated ability to identify consumer needs, choose product positioning, set measurable marketing objectives and apply strategic thinking to create superior marketing plans.
Required Experience / Education:
-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Content Management, or equivalent
-Candidates should have a solid foundation in product or services marketing. Experience in the BPO industry is especially desirable.
-5 plus years marketing services in B2B environment or similar
-Candidates should possess strong verbal and written communication skills as this position regularly interacts with a variety of functional groups. Well-written, actionable plans and creative briefs are essential.
-Excellent writing skills, good design skills, and basic HTML, SEO understanding.
-Excellent organizational and project management skills, and an ability to prioritize and meeting strict deadlines.
-Extensive knowledge of email marketing programs and providers (Constant Contact), and how to manage large email lists and campaigns.
-Applicants must convey a thorough understanding of marketing activities and proficiency in the use of business productivity software such as Microsoft Office.
-Fluency in other languages besides English a plus (French/Spanish).
